Conference Formats

The conference program will include a keynote speeches, conference sub-forums.

  • Papers for keynote speeches will be recommended by the conference paper-review committee and the organizing committee. There will be several keynote speakers who are domestic or overseas scholars at the conference. The speeches will take place on the morning of Sept. 1, 2018.
  • Conference forums or symposia are prepared speeches and in-depth discussions, with symposium tasks or activities (concerning original ideas and recent progress of the field). Each individual paper should be no more than 15 minutes in length with 5 minutes of time for questions.

Paper Submission

Original abstract must be submitted using Microsoft Word Processor. All abstracts should be submitted via e-mail at zhangwenju5188@126.com at this stage. The deadline for abstract submission is May 25, 2018. Maximum word count = 250 words excluding title, authors names and addresses. Abstracts should be in Arial, 12 point font. Abstracts should be submitted with the title, author names and affiliations. The abstract should be in the form of bolded structured headings (with blank line spaces between each section) as follows: Aims, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Abbreviations must only be used if defined immediately after the full word or phrase is used for the first time. Notification of Acceptance of Abstracts will be June 15, 2018. All abstracts will be reviewed by the committee who will grade them for inclusion into the oral presentations and poster sessions at the Congress. Please note there are limited spaces available for oral presentations. The Congress will be responsible for your local three nights’ accommodation expenses (from Sept. 15-17, 2017), including lodging and meals during the session in Suzhou with free registration fee if your paper is selected as oral presentation.

Presentation

Each presenter for the symposiums should prepare the speech in PPT format in English (if the presenter cannot speak Chinese), and will be required to send us the slides before the middle of July. All the slides will be translated into Chinese before the Congress. Each presentation will last about 15 minutes followed by 5 minute questions and answers if the time permits. All the presentations will be either on the afternoon of Sept. 1 or on the morning of Sept. 2. But, you will be notified of the exact date.

Each keynote speaker will propose three alternative topics for us to select, and after our selection you can prepare the speech in PPT format in English (if the presenter cannot speak Chinese), and each keynote speaker will then send us the slides before the end the July. All the slides will be translated into Chinese before the Congress. Each keynote presentation will last 25 minutes followed by 5 minute questions and answers if the time permits.
